Pool Update

Ok, so I am almost halfway done. It’s getting easier and easier… the trick is not to try too hard to make the edges line up. If you do, you’ll be walking around all damn day looking for the right piece. Just grab one throw it down…. spin it a few times and then trim the edges. I can tell a difference between the two types of flag. The buff is harder to cut/chisel. The oak is fairly easy. It’s hard to see the color at this point… there is so much dust from cutting the stone.

I got all frustrated with the flagstone in the pit so I decided I would start up on the patio instead. I have started to layout the pieces and cut them. I want to get the patio half way done by Friday.

Pool Update

GET SOME! I am done pouring out the pit. I am gonna concentrate on the flagstone now…

Pool Update

The last pour is ready to go…. I just didn’t have my wheel barrow so it’ll have to wait until tomorrow.

Pool Update

I formed up the sump and poured around it…

Pool Update

I finally cleared out the bottom of the pit and started work on the sump. I got it all in and was gonna pour it after I got home from my game… unfortunately I separated my already separated shoulder and can’t do much now. It was pretty bad this time… usually it pops right back in but it was out for at least 30 seconds this time. So, I am just hanging out for a while until I get it checked out…. perhaps I’ll work on the controller.
